Vladimir Putin does not reveal much about himself and his life.

But his income is very good.

However, the information from the Kremlin raises questions.

Munich - In the middle of the Ukraine war, the Kremlin surprises with a questionable announcement.

This is not about propaganda about the invasion, which in Russia can only be called a special operation.

But about Vladimir Putin's income.

As a result of the invasion of the neighboring country, people die every day, buildings or whole blocks of houses are leveled and more and more atrocities come to light.

Meanwhile, the Kremlin publishes the merits of the ruler in Moscow.

Ukraine war: According to the Kremlin, Putin is said to have earned only 114,000 euros in 2021

According to government figures, Putin earned 10.2 million rubles last year, which corresponds to the equivalent of 114,000 euros.

A 77 square meter apartment, three cars and a car trailer are listed as the official possessions of the strong man in the Kremlin, officially or unofficially, for more than two decades.

Not more.

In terms of income, even other politicians clearly overshadow him.

According to official information, some move in completely different spheres.

704.7 million rubles (7.9 million euros) are said to have flowed into the account of Trade Minister Denis Manturov.

In the Kremlin, the special envoy Vladimir Medinsky is given the top spot with 106.7 million rubles (1.2 million euros), he is leading the peace negotiations with Ukraine on the Russian side.

Putin's salary: film by Navalny team raised doubts about the president's ownership structure

The Kremlin boss can't officially compete with these two.

However, critics suspect that Putin is much richer.

When the payroll first came out, ridicule quickly set in.

Users also referred to the imprisoned Kremlin opponent Alexej Navalny, who has already uncovered various corruption scandals.

Last year, for example, his team assigned Putin a huge palace on the Black Sea coast in a two-hour film and revealed the allegedly veiled ownership structure.

At that time, the Kremlin countered with accusations of "lies" and spoke of "nonsense".

An all too familiar tactic from those war days.
