The Palestinian Ministry of Foreign Affairs confirmed that the condemnation of Western countries of the Israeli occupation's aggression against Al-Aqsa Mosque did not reach the level of the event and did not touch the truth or reflect what happened.

In a statement today, carried by Wafa Agency, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stressed the need to call things by their proper names and recognize that (Israel) occupies the land of the State of Palestine, and that what the occupation forces have done is terrorism that was manifested in the nature of the attacks on Palestinians in the courtyards of the Temple Mount, which resulted in dozens of injuries and hundreds of arrests.

The Foreign Ministry affirmed the necessity of condemning this aggression by all and not covering it up in general statements that provide protection for the racist practices of the occupation, pointing out that what happened yesterday is considered an Israeli violation of the sanctity of the holy place, international law, international humanitarian law, the right to worship, freedom of movement, and the sanctity of the month of Ramadan.

The Foreign Ministry indicated that such statements do not put any pressure on the occupation authorities to stop their violations and crimes, but rather encourage them to persist in them, pointing out that the West should stop the policy of double standards towards the Palestinian issue and reconsider the level of its statements about the event.
