Patient visits possible: Agatharied Hospital relaxes pandemic rules for Easter

Struggling for normalcy: Agatharied Hospital is still suffering from the restrictions of the pandemic.

Agatharied Hospital is easing restrictions on visitors on Easter Sunday and Easter Monday.

However, there are special rules that must be observed.

Agatharied - For the upcoming holidays, Agatharied Hospital has announced that the restrictions on visitors will be relaxed: On Easter Sunday and Easter Monday, patients can receive visitors from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

As the clinic reports, however, the following rules apply:

• The exception to the visitor restrictions, which are still in force, only applies to the periods mentioned.

• Each patient can receive a maximum of two people in one day and for a period of one hour.

• Every visitor must present a current negative corona test, either a rapid antigen test that is no more than 24 hours old or a PCR test that is no more than 48 hours old.

  Testing in the Agatharied hospital is not possible.

• During the entire stay in the hospital, visitors are obliged to wear an FFP2 mask and also to comply with the usual hygiene regulations in the house - i.e. keep your distance, observe the sneezing label, regularly disinfect your hands and air the patient room).

• Visitors are asked to only pay symptom-free visits.

To justify the restrictions that are still in force, the clinic states: "Even if many corona rules have been relaxed in the past few weeks, the Agatharied hospital has a special responsibility for the protection of its patients".

Therefore, after the holidays, the ban on visits will be adhered to again.

After Easter, there will be a ban on visits again - with only a few exceptions

For the time being, exceptions to this only apply to relatives of the dying and demented patients as well as to persons accompanying the birth or to parents of a sick child.

Fathers are allowed to visit their newborn after prior agreement with the maternity ward.
