Two members of the Iraqi Popular Mobilization Forces were killed today as a result of a terrorist attack by ISIS in Al-Aith Island, east of Salah Al-Din Governorate.
The Mobilization Information Directorate said in a statement that Alsumaria News received a copy of it, "The sixth regiment of the 22nd Brigade managed to thwart a plot by ISIS terrorists to storm the regiment's headquarters through the regiment's main door, which led to the killing of two members of the crowd while responding to the attack."
The Iraqi forces repelled an attack by ISIS terrorists north of Samarra in Salah al-Din province last month.
