Fighters from the Border Police's undercover unit arrested "Al Ham" on suspicion of stealing military equipment and ammunition from Tselim base training areas.
The unit's fighters were ambushed in the base's training area, as part of their activities against the phenomenon of theft from IDF bases in the south.
During the operation, a suspect entered the training areas and began scanning around the buildings and in the field, in order to locate equipment and ammunition.
The fighters identified the suspect and arrested him while he was trying to steal the equipment.
The suspect, a resident of Segev Shalom, was arrested and taken along with the findings for questioning by the Israel Police.
