Over 200,000 hikers visited the nature reserves and national parks today (Sunday).
Prominent among them were Yarkon, Tel Afek and Gan Hashlosha with about 5,000 hikers in each of them.
4,500 hikers visited Caesarea and Ashkelon separately, and the Besor-Eshkol Park and Beit Guvrin with about 3,500 visitors each.
Among the nature reserves, Ein Gedi stood out with about 5,000 hikers and the Banias and cliff springs with about 3,000 hikers.
Other notable sites were Migdal Tzedek, Maayan Harod, Masada, Ein Afek and Tel Dan.
The PA has decided to extend the hours of operation at about 50 sites until 18:00 on Passover and the Sabbath, in order to allow visitors to extend their trip in nature and heritage over longer hours.

Festivals in the national parks
Also tomorrow (Monday) many travelers are expected at the various sites.
