Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan apparently want to turn their backs on their home town of Montecito.

A possible destination: the metropolis of New York.

Montecito – Prince Harry (37) and wife Meghan (40) have had enough of the California sun.

Rumors of a possible move for the royal emigrants have been circulating for some time, but the Sussexes are said to not only be looking for a new home.

Almost two years ago, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry moved to trendy Montecito, where they can call a luxurious property with a large garden, pool, tennis court & Co. their own.

At first glance, the villa of the ducal couple, which costs around 12.5 million euros, leaves nothing to be desired, but in recent months one or the other problem has clouded the idyll of the family of four.

Several curses are said to weigh on Harry and Meghan's dream villa, and the Californian property is said to be surrounded by a fertile stench.

It is understandable that the Sussexes want to move and sell their villa, they seem to miss the turbulent city life.

As the British "Daily Mail" reports, citing insiders, Harry and Meghan are currently looking for an apartment in New York.

It is apparently no coincidence that they are targeting the area around the UN headquarters in Manhattan.

Meghan Markle is reportedly pursuing a job at the United Nations.

According to the "Daily Mail", Harry and Meghan only want to move their second home to New York City.

The two last visited the Big Apple in September last year.

It is not yet known which place will be the new home of the parents of two and when the moving boxes will be packed in California, but they will probably not leave the USA for the time being.

Many British royal fans still hope that Prince Harry and his wife Meghan will settle down in England again, if only temporarily.
