The world will of course understand the Palestinians, who choose places that are beyond the 1967 lines within Jerusalem, as President Obama's Democratic administration and as the Biden administration believe.
Riots like the ones that have been going on for several days on the Temple Mount and the Old City are organized in an organized way by pre-arranged groups to start the violence.
The very cooperation of the Israeli government with the entry of a third Arab factor - Egypt in the present case - to mediate in calming violent events that take place under the sovereignty of the state, transmits weakness and the relinquishment of symbols of sovereignty.
