Damascus, SANA- The seventy-sixth anniversary of the French colonizer’s evacuation from Syria and the scourge of terrorism is just around the corner

Damascus-SANA

The seventy-sixth anniversary of the evacuation of the French colonizer from Syria and the scourge of terrorism is just around the corner, thanks to the heroism of the Syrian Arab Army, the grandchildren of the evacuation makers and the flag-bearers of the homeland during their response to the terrorist war led by the neo-Western colonial countries, led by the United States of America.

The Syrians who carry in their conscience the meanings of evacuation and tell their children about the great sacrifices of their ancestors are steadfast today in the face of terrorism and its makers and tools of mercenaries, and they rely on a solid base of patience, work and will. Which were presented by the bravery of our guerrilla army, and they are still presenting it in battles of honor and heroism.

The national unity that was established by the true national mujahideen who fought the French colonialists with honor and sincerity, the first of its fruits was the elimination of the strife that colonialism tried to instill among the sons of the one nation. All the way to the Great Syrian Revolution of 1925, which was led by Sultan Pasha al-Atrash, which engulfed various Syrian cities and regions.

And so that history would not write that the colonizer entered Damascus without resistance, the Battle of Maysaloun, in which the Minister of War Yusef Al-Azma and hundreds of heroic men were martyred after rejecting Goro’s warning on the 14th of July 1920, formed a real nucleus for resisting the occupation from the coast through the struggle of Sheikh Saleh Al-Ali’s forces The French Mandate since the first day of the deployment of its forces along the Syrian coast in November 1918, and its revolution in the mountains of the coastal region lasted for about four years until July 1922, when the revolutionaries fought honorable battles in which they inflicted great losses on the French.

The Mujahid Sultan Pasha al-Atrash, who declared a revolution until the colonizer was driven from the homeland on July 21, 1925, began launching military attacks on the French forces and set fire to the French legation house in Salkhad and liberated it and then fought many battles in which the French incurred heavy losses.

The painful blows dealt by the resistance fighters in the eastern region, led by Muhammad Bey Al-Ayyash and Fawzi Al-Qawuqji in Hama, reaching Damascus and Ghouta under the leadership of Hassan Al-Kharrat, formed epics in the national struggle record that the Syrians wrote with the blood of the martyrs, and with the passage of years it formed a strong national tradition in the conscience of the Syrians, especially after it culminated in the achievement of independence On the 17th of April 1946.

The struggle of the Syrians did not stop at confronting the old colonialism, but rather it continued to confront modern colonialism in its various forms such as domination, domination, imposition of dependency and economic siege. The Ottoman and the French and the victories that followed in the October Liberation War, confronting the Israeli enemy during its invasion of Lebanon, and supporting the resistance illuminate the path to achieving a resounding victory over terrorism and its supporters, cleansing the Syrian soil and expelling the occupiers and their agents.
