An industrial accident occurred in Tin Shui Wai. Today (17th) at about 9 pm, a male warehouse worker was in a factory at No. 249 Pingxia Road. The security guard suddenly heard a loud noise while patrolling. He went to check and saw a man. The worker fell into a coma and was caught in the pile of plastic cargo, so he called the police.

The injured male worker was then taken to Tin Shui Wai Hospital by ambulance for treatment, but unfortunately passed away.

Police are investigating the cause of the incident.

It is reported that at first it was suspected that the victim was crushed by the collapse of the cargo. After investigation, it was believed that the victim accidentally fell while working at a height and fell into the pile of cargo, as if being "buried alive".

The police said that at 9:07 p.m. on the 17th, they received a report from a security guard at a factory at No. 249, Pingxia Road, that a 32-year-old non-Chinese male worker was found lying down on the site.

Officers arrived at the scene, and the victim was sent to Tin Shui Wai Hospital in a coma for treatment. He was later confirmed dead with no superficial injuries.

After preliminary investigation, it is believed that the victim accidentally fell from the 3-meter-high machine.

The cause of death is to be determined after an autopsy.

The case is listed as "death on admission".
