A girl perished today (Monday) in a house fire in Adma, an ecological village in the Western Galilee.

Firefighters who arrived at the scene reported being trapped in one of the rooms and rescued her from the building lifeless.



The raging fire has not yet been brought under control, and four firefighters from a central Galilee station are operating on the scene.

A man and a woman in their 40s were evacuated to Rambam Hospital in Haifa with burns of varying severity.

About a month ago, Jasmine Bracha Bukoltov, a two-year-old toddler, perished in a fire in Petah Tikva.

Her mother, a 42-year-old woman, and her four brothers were also injured in the incident, but were rescued in a light condition.

According to data from the organization Prior to Child Safety, since 2017, 30 children have been killed in the fire.



That same day, an 80-year-old woman perished in a fire in her apartment on 23rd Street in the C neighborhood of Be'er Sheva. The elderly woman was found on the first floor of a three-story residence. MDA medics and paramedics were forced to determine her death on the spot.
