Important cash-frac in the beautiful districts of the capital.
The apartment of the art dealer, Thierry H., was robbed this Sunday in Paris (VIIe), by one or more mysterious climbers.
The thieves seized watches, jewelry and luxury items for damage estimated at between three and six million euros.
It was around 6:15 p.m., rue de Bellechasse, that the caretaker of this opulent building alerted the police.
He reports that a dwelling, located on the first floor, has just been robbed.
“He explains that he warned the owner who is on his way to greet the police and tell them what was stolen from him,” says a source close to the case.
A patrol goes on the spot and finds that the front door has been forced.
Officials are guarding the scene awaiting the arrival of the forensic team.
Thierry H. joins them in the meantime and confirms that many valuables have been stolen from him, including watches and jewellery.
The alarm system was disconnected
Investigators from the banditry repression brigade are responsible for carrying out further investigations.
Forensic technicians took the fingerprints in the apartment, which is not equipped with video surveillance.
“There was no safe, notes an official and the alarm system was deactivated.
The rest of the investigations should make it possible to identify the criminal(s) and determine if the victim was targeted or if they struck at random.
Thierry H. is an art dealer whose reputation has slightly exceeded that of professionals in the sector.
His name appeared in a judicial inquiry opened at the end of 2015 in Geneva.
He was suspected of collaborating with Yves Bouvier, a Swiss businessman who overcharged the sale of paintings by old masters to a Russian oligarch.
Thierry H. would also have sold about forty paintings to Vladimir S. who had filed a complaint for fraud.
