The humanitarian and living conditions of the people of al-Hasakah worsened with the siege of the “Qasd militia” linked to the American occupation of the city entering its tenth day and preventing the entry of living necessities for the people.

SANA’s reporter stated that the “Qasd militia” continues to prevent the entry of basic materials to the people, including food, vegetables and catering materials, with the loss of many materials in the markets, in addition to preventing the entry of medicines for the work of health centers and pharmacies, in parallel with the continued power cuts in large parts of the city due to the prevention of Entry of fuel to run even private generators.

The people’s suffering also continued in securing bread after the public and private bakeries stopped production as a result of the militia’s prohibition of the entry of flour and fuel to operate the bakeries, especially the first al-Hasakah bakery. In addition to this, the militia prevented the entry of drinking water tanks to fill the tanks scattered in neighborhoods, main streets, and household tanks, especially those that suffer From poor water pumping.

The director of the bakeries branch in the governorate, Abdullah Al-Hasr, confirmed to SANA reporter that the first bakery in Al-Hasakah, which has a production capacity of 30 tons per day through three production lines, continues to be suspended, and the people of the province are deprived of bread in light of the increased demand for it, pointing out that the same situation applies to the Al-Baath bakery in the city of Qamishli, which is controlled by By the militia and prevent entry of flour and workers.

In the context of its violations, the “Qasd” militia escalated its attacks in the city of Qamishli and occupied the Al-Quwatli roundabout leading to the government complex that includes the Civil Registry, the Palace of Justice, the Department of Agriculture, Technical Services and Water, in addition to its continued seizure of the Baath bakery, preventing its operation and depriving the people of bread.

On the ninth of this month, the “Qasd” militia stormed the Baath bakery in the city of Qamishli and expelled the workers from it, days after seizing the Social Security and Labor building in the city, while continuing its siege on the center of the city of Hasaka, preventing the entry of basic materials to it and depriving citizens of a livelihood.
