The body of a woman was found this Saturday inside a duffel bag on the side of an avenue in Queens, in New York City.
A trail of blood led detectives from there to a home about a half-mile away, according to police.
Authorities received a call about a bag of blood at the corner of Metropolitan Avenue and Jackie Robinson Parkway in Forest Hills shortly after 8 a.m. Saturday, according to the New York City Police Department.
Inside they found Orsolya Gaal, a 51-year-old mother of two, in an “unconscious state”, according to police.
The woman was unresponsive to resuscitation attempts.
When emergency services arrived at the scene, she was pronounced dead at the scene.

Detectives followed the trail of blood several blocks to a house at 72-24 Juno Street, which is where Gaal lived, according to authorities, who have so far made no arrests or identified suspects in this crime.
The Medical Examiner's Office will determine the cause of death.

Detectives questioned residents of the home, including a 13-year-old boy.
The woman's husband was out of town when her body was discovered and returned to New York after hearing the news, the NBC station in New York reported.
