100 paintings included in the first solo exhibition of the artist Amna Al-Awad

One hundred paintings in the art of decoration and plastic art included in the first solo exhibition of the young artist Amna Al-Awad, which dominated engineering formations and mixed joyful colors on his paintings, which were displayed in the hall of the Arab Cultural Center in Al-Hasakah.

The artist Al-Awad, who participated in many group exhibitions held by the Directorate of Culture and the Branch of the Union of Fine Artists, presented through this exhibition her mark and her own artistic style to the public.

The artist, Amna, stated in a statement to SANA reporter that her exhibition included artistic paintings with content focusing on the art of decoration, in addition to displaying 12 paintings of her late father's works, explaining that she followed the school of decoration art in all its forms, including the Damascene brocade, Indian ornament and modern decoration.

What distinguishes the exhibition's paintings, according to Al-Awad, is the richness of colors that show the aesthetics of art, especially the joyful colors.

The Director of Culture, Abdul Rahman Al-Sayed, said that the audience of culture and art is celebrating today a new artist who is making her way in the world of art and creativity as one of the young artists who participated in many of the directorate’s artistic forums, through which it bets on achieving the greatest possible benefit and to hold their own individual exhibitions later, pointing out that the artist Amna was distinguished for her late father's school.

From the audience, the plastic artist Zaka Al-Salama saw that the exhibition was a good initiative in Al-Hasakah Governorate and a first attempt for this type of decorative art, which represents a beautiful artistic movement and an artistic extension of ancient Arab and eastern civilizations and an intersection of arts, explaining that the curves of lines, simplicity and tinsel of colors attract the onlookers and leave comfort and aesthetics in the souls.
