Meanwhile, Old City youth and other organizations are planning to hold a flag march in the city tonight and are awaiting approval from the police to hold it.

The parade is planned around the walls of the capital's old city, including where stones will be thrown at Egged buses earlier this week.

"Right now we will raise Jerusalem to the top of our joy," they said.

According to the organizers, "The photos and videos from the Old City of Jerusalem cause the loss of sovereignty and fear of the masses of Israel to come to the Old City on weekdays. With Israeli pride and pride, we will put Jerusalem on top of our joy. "

However, the police are raising difficulties and are asking not to allow the marching of the flags at the time and place where it is planned, and have asked to set an alternative date.

The organizers attacked in response.

"The police are denying their role in allowing the celebrations of the foot safely in the capital of Israel," they said.

On the police's demand for a postponement to another date, the organizers said that "the police are actually declaring to the citizens of Israel that there is no security in the Old City this Passover, a very worrying security and moral statement."

It was learned that a delegation of senior American officials will arrive in Israel, the Palestinian Authority, Egypt and Jordan this week in an attempt to calm the crisis around the Temple Mount, according to two sources involved.

Assistant Foreign Minister for Middle East Affairs Yael Lampert and Palestinian Foreign Ministry spokesman Hadi Amar are expected to arrive in the area today and meet with senior officials in Jerusalem, Ramallah and Amman.

The launch of the delegation was decided by US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken.

The move points to the great American fear of tensions in the region and the danger that it will escalate into a broader violent confrontation.

Foreign Minister Yair Lapid spoke last night with Blinken about the tensions in Jerusalem and "updated on the efforts that Israel is investing to allow freedom of worship for members of the three religions in Jerusalem," it was reported.

It was also reported on behalf of Lapid that the two discussed the importance of Passover, Easter and Ramadan.

"The Foreign Minister emphasized the considered and responsible Israeli effort in the face of riots by hundreds of Muslim extremists on the Temple Mount and the information and false information gaps, which are disseminated by extremists, who incite fire and violence instead of calming down," it said.

"Minister Lapid told the Secretary of State that Israel would not be willing to accept calls for support for violence and stressed the need for international support for the return of peace to Jerusalem."
