Tragic accident in Chaville.
At the very beginning of the afternoon, this Tuesday, a 10-year-old child died after falling from the fourth floor of the building which houses the family apartment.
It was shortly after 1:30 p.m. when passers-by alerted the emergency services after discovering the lifeless body of the child, lying on the sidewalk of rue Anatole-France, at the foot of a recent building, not far from the Hôtel de city.
Quickly taken care of by the emergency services, the young boy was transported to the Necker hospital, in the 15th arrondissement of Paris, escorted by two motorcyclists from the national police.
In vain.
“He succumbed to his injuries when he arrived at the hospital,” breathes a police source.
For now, the circumstances of the tragedy remain very unclear.
Impossible to say under what circumstances the child, whose father was present in the apartment, managed to climb up to the window before falling into the void.
"We can't say what really happened yet, but the thing we know for sure is that it was an accident," the same source said.
Mayor (DVD) Jean-Jacques Guillet also speaks of an accident.
According to his information, the victim's sister was also in the accommodation on Tuesday afternoon, and the little boy complained to her of a stomach ache.
“But that obviously cannot explain this accident”, evacuates the elected official.
“I am devastated by such a tragedy.
It's appalling, ”adds Jean-Jacques Guillet, who indicates that he will show his support for the family in the hours to come.
