The Faculty of Marine Sciences of the University of South Florida monitors the accumulation of sargassum that is concentrated in the Caribbean Sea and that advances towards the coasts of the region.
Through a platform it is possible to know whether or not the beaches have sargassum and in what quantities they reach land.
