Israeli forces carried out strikes early Tuesday in the Gaza Strip after a rocket fired from the Palestinian enclave into Israel, witnesses and the ruling Islamist movement there said.
Israeli aircraft carried out strikes in the southern Gaza Strip, witnesses said, while the armed wing of Hamas announced that it had opened fire on Israeli aircraft.

,” Hamas spokesman Hazem Qassem said in a statement, arguing that Israeli forces struck
“empty sites” .
Witnesses and security sources in the Gaza Strip on Tuesday reported no injuries in his strikes, which come shortly after a rocket fire from the Gaza Strip into Israeli territory was intercepted by the missile shield “Iron Dome”.
