Meghan Markle: She flew to Los Angeles without Prince Harry

Four days before Prince Harry, Meghan Markle took a flight back to Los Angeles.

Why the Duchess ended her stay in The Hague earlier.

The Hague – Duchess Meghan (40) and Prince Harry (37) enchanted fans during their performances in the Netherlands when they came to The Hague for the fifth Invictus Games.

Once in Europe, the former royals also made a stopover at Prince Harry's grandmother, British Queen Elizabeth II (95) in London.

But then the Duchess boarded the plane back to America four days earlier than Harry, what happened?

The fifth Invictus Games, initiated by Prince Harry, were also a great success.

The show of infatuation with which the Sussexes completed their program put an end to all rumors that the marriage to Meghan Markle was in crisis.

Nevertheless, the mother of two also had to take harsh criticism.

Was the fan scolding the reason why the Duchess suddenly traveled back to Los Angeles four days before her husband?

The answer was quickly found as to why Meghan was in such a hurry to get back to Montecito.

In fact, it came as a bit of a surprise that the former "Suits" actress has been seen in Europe alongside the British royal for so long.

Because on the second day, the 40-year-old revealed how much she missed her children.

Meghan Markle made the heartwarming confession while reading stories to a group of 12 children at a private event in Zuiderpark.

She told British Army veteran James Stride that she wanted to attend the reading because she was so close to children and they reminded her of their own.

Son Archie (2) and little Lilibet (10 months) were probably in the care of Meghan's mother Doria Ragland (65) while their parents were away.

Meghan Markle: Overwhelmed by motherhood

On the day the games opened, the Duchess showed her maternal side and quickly covered a baby with her coat.

The couple's trip to Europe also appears to mark their longest separation from their children.

Before their trip to the Netherlands, the couple also made a short stopover in London to meet Prince Charles (73), Duchess Camilla (74) and Queen Elizabeth II.

Since the well-received interview with Oprah Winfrey (68) last year, it was the first personal meeting of grandson and grandmother.
