More than half of Germans are dissatisfied with Scholz – Baerbock and Habeck at high popularity levels

According to a new survey, more than half of Germans are dissatisfied with Chancellor Olaf Scholz.
In addition, the SPD is losing approval and is on a par with the Union.
Cologne – In the current RTL/ntv trend barometer, the SPD lost two percentage points compared to the previous week, while the Union and the Greens each gained one percentage point.
This puts the SPD and the Union back on par with 25 percent each.
With 20 percent, the Greens are only 5 percentage points behind the SPD and the Union.
The values for FDP (8 percent), Left (4 percent), AfD (9 percent) and for the other parties (9 percent) remain unchanged compared to the previous week.
The escalated Ukraine conflict (79 percent) also remains the topic that worries Germans the most.
This is followed by the corona pandemic (49 percent), with a downward trend.
The topic of energy and energy prices (44 percent) interests as many citizens as the corona pandemic.
Olaf Scholz: More than half of Germans are dissatisfied with their Chancellor
When it comes to satisfaction with the work of Federal Chancellor Olaf Scholz, the gap between those who are satisfied and those who are dissatisfied with his work continues to increase in the current survey.
42 percent of Germans are currently satisfied or very satisfied with Scholz's work.
On the other hand, 52 percent were less or not at all satisfied.
Most of the supporters of the SPD (89 percent) and the Greens (69 percent) are satisfied with Scholz's work.
The supporters of the FDP are divided on this question (42 percent satisfied; 43 percent dissatisfied), a majority of the supporters of the opposition parties is less or not at all satisfied with the work of the Federal Chancellor.
Germany trend: Green Minister at popularity high
Twice as many Germans are now satisfied (61 percent) as dissatisfied (31 percent) with the work of Federal Foreign Minister Annalena Baerbock.
Only East Germans (57 percent) and AfD supporters (88 percent) are less or not at all satisfied with Baerbock's work.
Significantly more Germans are satisfied (58 percent) than dissatisfied (34 percent) with the work of Federal Minister of Economics Robert Habeck.
Not only the supporters of the "traffic light parties" are mostly satisfied with Habeck's work, but also the supporters of the CDU and CSU (53 percent).
Germany trend: female SPD ministers in popularity low
Three times more Germans are dissatisfied (64 percent) than satisfied (21 percent) with the work of Federal Defense Minister Christine Lambrecht.
Even among the supporters of the SPD, a majority (59 percent) is not satisfied with the work of the Federal Defense Minister.
A large number of Germans (34 percent) still do not have the confidence to judge the work of Federal Minister of the Interior Nancy Faeser.
Significantly more Germans are dissatisfied (43 percent) with the work of Nancy Faeser than satisfied (23 percent).
