A swimmer in a wetsuit breaks up a major fire brigade operation.
Even a helicopter was on duty.
Hamburg – excitement in Hamburg on Monday evening, April 18, 2022: A man in a wetsuit should swim in the middle of the Elbe * fairway.
First in normal breaststroke, shortly afterwards in sporty "freestyle".
Without a life jacket or similar life-saving items.

On Monday evening around 7:20 p.m., several emergency vehicles immediately rushed to the Hamburg Landungsbrücken* and the Dockland ferry terminal.
The water surface between the two ferry stations is searched with various small boats from various aid organizations.

A rescue helicopter searched for the swimmer from the air.

The rescue helicopter Christoph 29 is also circling over the Elbe and is looking for a floating person in the fairway.
However, the rescuers only find several floating balls.
No person to see.
The search was called off early Monday evening with no results.
