At about 2 am today (19th), the West Kowloon Criminal Headquarters raided a factory building at 94 To Kwa Wan Road, smashed 3 unlicensed bars and a baccarat gambling stall, and smashed the location on To Kwa Wan Road A total of 106 people were arrested at an unlicensed bar at No. 373.

Among them, 3 men and 1 woman arrested in 4 unlicensed bars were suspected of "unlicensed sale of alcoholic beverages", "unlicensed possession of alcoholic beverages for sale" and violation of the "Prevention and Control of Diseases (Requirements and Instructions) (Business and Premises) Regulations (Cap. 599F).

66 men and 25 women were arrested on suspicion of "drinking in an unlicensed establishment".

Police also seized suspected cocaine and ecstasy at the ground floor of No. 94 To Kwa Wan, and suspected that someone had thrown the drugs from the window of the industrial building.

After investigation, 10 men and 4 women in one of the unlicensed bars were also arrested on suspicion of "trafficking dangerous drugs".

The total market value of the drugs seized during the operation was about 62,000 yuan. The officers also seized at least 256 cans of beer, 116 bottles of spirits, 16 TV sets, 28 sets of stereos and 134 dice cups, with a total value of more than 700,000 yuan.

When the police smashed baccarat gambling stalls, they arrested 2 men and 1 woman on suspicion of “managing gambling establishments” or “assisting in managing gambling establishments”; another 2 men and 6 women were arrested on suspicion of “gambling in gambling establishments”.

Officers seized 3 computers, 3 TV sets, a gaming table, an electric mahjong table, 90,000 yuan in chips and about 31,000 yuan in cash and other evidence in the unit.

On the other hand, the West Kowloon Criminal Headquarters, together with the Kowloon City Police District Criminal Division, raided a number of industrial buildings and tenement buildings in Kowloon City around the Easter holiday (14 to 19), and smashed four illegal fishing machines and hundreds of Knorr gambling establishment and a party room, arrested 50 men and 20 women on suspicion of "managing a gambling establishment", "assisting in the management of a gambling establishment", "unlawful assembly", "possessing offensive weapons" and "being a member of a triad society" act".

During the operation, officers seized the sparrow table, poker, TV, chips, etc.
