The Syrian Company for Transport and Tourism is working on expanding the Karnak family resort in Tartous Governorate and developing its services within the framework of working on developing popular and domestic tourism projects to meet the increasing requirements for them.
According to a statement published by the Ministry of Tourism on its Facebook page, the expansion will take place by increasing the number of chalets to 33 chalets, implementing a swimming pool for adults and another for children, and a hexagonal grassy football field instead of the sandy field that is currently in place, with the expansion of sports fields to become multi-game stadiums (basket, tennis, volleyball and badminton). In addition to completing the expansion work within the next year's plan, bringing the number to 45 chalets.
It is noteworthy that the number of projects and open beaches that the company has completed are 4 projects, including winter and summer restaurants, playgrounds, a children’s playroom, and wooden chalets with different capacities, at entry prices and a well-thought-out summer.
