A mother duck hatched her chicks at the Puchheim station fire brigade.
Now the little ones have hatched and been released into the wild.
Puchheim - The voluntary fire brigade Puchheim-Bahnhof (district of Fürstenfeldbruck) has animal offspring: Duck offspring to be precise.
The fire brigade writes on Facebook that the chicks hatched “almost on time for Easter” in a flower box on the balcony of the apartments above the fire brigade equipment house.

The domestic and farm duck Henriette or one of her daughters has moved into "their duck hotel" for the third year in a row and got their chicks there.
There are eleven pieces this time - a record according to the Floriansjüngern.
But that almost wasn't possible.
Because the facade was completely renovated last year and all flower boxes were removed.
But the “head hotelier” thought of the animals and installed a new flower box especially for them.
"Of course, our animal couple knows the Puchheim housing market and therefore did not hesitate for long to buy the newly renovated accommodation with a view of the Alps, afternoon sun and all-round care from our professional duck carers," the fire brigade continues.

After the little ones hatched from their eggs, they were safely packed in a box and taken down from the balcony.
Afterwards, the eleven pupils and their mother went to freedom at a nearby pond.
The joy was great, as a video of the release shows.
