25 young men and women of artistic talents affiliated with the Farah Center for Music and Youth Activities Ensemble performed a musical concert this evening at the Arab Cultural Center in the city of Shahba, Sweida, on the occasion of the April holidays.

The concert included ancient and modern musical tunes, percussion instruments, and patriotic and folk songs.

In a statement to SANA, the Director of the Farah Center for Music and Youth Activities Bashar Amer indicated that the ceremony aims to motivate the center's talented students and increase their artistic expertise to raise their level for the better.

The supervisor of the training of the participants in the ceremony, Ayman Abu Yahya, noted the artistic combination that took place between ancient and modern music to meet different tastes, with a focus on dedicating a paragraph to percussion in an academic way.

The young woman, Ibaa Mahio, participating in the ceremony, pointed out that she has been presenting songs with the center for three years, which earned her a good experience of presenting in front of the audience, while the young percussionist Caesar Al-Taweel stated that he participated in the ceremony to show what he learned and trained on during the last period in an attempt to develop his level and reach an advanced stage in playing field.
