At least five people died on Wednesday April 20 in the crash of a small commercial plane in the town of Carrefour, near the capital Port-au-Prince, the pilot being the only survivor.

The device ensured the journey between Port-au-Prince and Jacmel, in the south of the country, told AFP the head of the Carrefour police, Pierre Belamy Saturday.
As it crashed, the aircraft hit a truck carrying consumer goods and injured several people, he said.
The purser said he saw
“five lifeless bodies and at least three injured people, who were not on the plane”
.
"Only the pilot survived this crash
," he said.
All the injured were taken to hospital.
