The voters of the Republican right who thought they were doing the right thing by dropping Fillon in 2017, then Valérie Pécresse in 2022 in order to vote for Macron, risk finding themselves very saddened by the staggering increase in extremism.
As I have been saying for five years, the center in power mechanically raises extremes that are now the only ones to embody the desire for “real change”.

Here is the proof by the figures: if we add the votes of Marine Le Pen, Éric Zemmour and Nicolas Dupont-Aignan, the nationalist or extreme right has increased by ten points since Emmanuel Macron is at the Élysée.
It weighed 21% in 2017, 32.5% in 2022!
If we add to this a Mélenchon at 22%, the Trotskyist parties, the radical wing of the ecologists and the PCF, the extremes today in France are close to 60%!
I hope the scales will finally fall from the eyes of those who thought the collapse of the old governing parties was good news
For those who would consider that, by contrast, the Social Democrats, Republicans and Centrists form the “circle of reason”, it is not erosion, but rather collapse…
