One of the bottles fell on the carpet at the entrance to the mosque • Three people were removed after violating the procedures • Police officers operate outside al-Aqsa

Following the tensions in Jerusalem that have characterized the last few days, this morning (Wednesday) a handful of lawbreakers entered the al-Aqsa Mosque on the Temple Mount, where they rioted and threw stones and Molotov cocktails outside.

The policemen allowed the Muslims to pray alongside the visits to the place as usual, this morning the same lawbreakers also threw Molotov cocktails from it in addition to the stones that were thrown.

One of the Molotov cocktails thrown by the rioters in the mosque fell on the entrance carpet to the mosque and caused a fire that was immediately extinguished, another Molotov cocktail fell in the doorway of the mosque window, which could have led to the fire.

The two Molotov cocktails that fell come after documentation of ball games in the mosque, stones and fireworks, so it seems that the desecration of the mosque by lawbreakers who prevent Muslims in their actions from entering and causing damage to the place continues.

Meanwhile, police forces operated outside the mosque to continue to secure the visits and maintain order.

In recent days, police have been operating outside the mosque, guarding visitors and making sure the rioters do not leave unlike normal days when they stand at the Mughrabi Gate.
