Success for civil investigators: Investigators seize heroin - and find breeding plantation for "Magic Mushrooms"

Officials were able to stop a suspected heroin trade in Regensburg.
Previously, they had checked a defensive 55-year-old.
Regensburg – Officials from the civil task force Regensburg were able to stop a suspected heroin trade on the night of Sunday (April 17) and subsequently secured a breeding facility for “magic mushrooms”.
That is what the police said.

Accordingly, investigators from the civil task force Regensburg subjected a man (55) to a personal check on Saturday evening around 9:40 p.m. on Furtmayrstraße.
They seized several grams of heroin.
"The accused was still trying to swallow the drug, which the emergency services were able to prevent with direct force to protect him."
The 55-year-old resisted and was slightly injured.
"Further investigations revealed indications of a possible drug dealer," the police said.
After consultation with the public prosecutor's office in Regensburg, the apartment of a 40-year-old in downtown Regensburg was then searched.

In the bathroom, a system for cultivating so-called "magic mushrooms" (psychoactive mushrooms) was secured, which justifies the initial suspicion of a criminal offense under the Narcotics Act, the officials continue.
Both men were released after the police measures "and are now looking forward to investigations into various offenses under the Narcotics Act and the Criminal Code."
