A new homicide in the Val-d'Oise.
A 19-year-old young man was attacked this afternoon in Garges-lès-Gonesse, victim of a stab wound to the heart.
He did not survive his injuries.
The firefighters intervened around 5 p.m. to rescue the victim who had just been attacked on avenue du Général-de-Gaulle, opposite the Arc-en-Ciel shopping center.
The young man had just collapsed on the public highway, his attacker fleeing.
It wouldn't be a brawl
When help arrived, the young man had no heart activity and was not breathing.
By carrying out resuscitation maneuvers as quickly as possible, the emergency services managed to restore cardiac activity in the victim thanks to the care provided on site.
The young man was transported by the Smur medical team who had taken care of him to the Gonesse hospital center in absolute emergency, but he nevertheless had to succumb to his injuries.
The exact circumstances were not specified on Wednesday evening.
But there was no question of brawling.
His attacker is a single man who has since been actively sought by the police at the Sarcelles police station.
According to the very first elements collected as part of the investigation, the dispute between the two men could be of a sentimental nature.
A magistrate from the Pontoise public prosecutor's office went to the scene of the fatal attack.
