Judith Rakers is in great mourning.
The “Tagesschau” spokeswoman reveals on Instagram that her cat was bitten to death by a dog on Easter Sunday.
Within a series of pictures she says goodbye.
Hamburg – The Easter days seem to have been anything but easy for Judith Rakers (46, all information about the moderator).
If she is otherwise in front of the camera for the Tagesschau (all information about the ARD news program) and reports on current events, she always gives an insight into her life on Instagram.
On Easter Sunday she had to cope with a severe blow of fate - her cat, who would have been one year old a day later, died.

Judith Rakers is not only the spokeswoman for "Tagesschau", but has also built up a large community on Instagram.
Over 230,000 people are already following her.
She not only gives tips and tricks about self-sufficiency gardens, but also insights into her life away from the camera.
On April 18, she announced extremely sad news: her beloved cat Juri was bitten to death by a dog.
On her profile she says goodbye and explains how it came about.

“Juri would have been one year old today.
Yesterday the new neighbour's dog bit him dead," Judith Rakers comments on a series of photos of her cat.
A dramatic incident that makes her infinitely sad.

Juri walked onto his property because he used to be welcome there.
He couldn't know that the new dog kills cats when he sees them.
The owners are genuinely concerned and dismayed.
And I am infinitely sad
," said the "Tagesschau" spokeswoman.
The 46-year-old only caused a stir in March.
Because Judith Rakers broke an unwritten “Tagesschau” law by expressing her sympathy for the people of Ukraine on social media.
