Boris Johnson increasingly bogged down in the “Partygate” crisis.
The British Prime Minister is now the target of a new investigation, this time from Parliament, into the celebrations in Downing Street given during the confinements, following a vote by the deputies this Thursday afternoon.
In this new episode of this affair which has seen a succession of revelations, calls for resignation and public apologies, the deputies were to say this Thursday whether an investigation should be opened to determine whether Boris Johnson knowingly deceived Parliament by assuring that no restriction had been violated, before receiving a fine.
The deputies considered that it was necessary, a new snub for the tenant of 10 Downing Street, always more weakened.
