The activities of the second day of the seventh annual festival of school theater in Lattakia included musical performances, artistic dance paintings, folk arts, theatrical performance, choir playing and singing.
During the event, which was held on the stage of Dar Al-Assad Theater for Culture, the Sanabel Al-Mahabah Choir, affiliated with Suleiman Al-Aji Hall, presented a group of plays and songs, with the participation of 30 choirs and 13 players and instrumentalists, who used violin, flute, lute, law, percussion, piano and guitar, under the supervision of Eva Abdel Rahman, including the songs (Visit our homes Ya Shams). Children), (Helwa Yanyalha), (Hello, your hair is my home) and Qadoud Halabiya.
In a statement to SANA’s reporter, the band’s coach, Miri Michael, confirmed that music is part of our daily life, and therefore it is necessary to transfer artistic experiences to school students and refine their talents through training to present good performances that embody the spirit of collective participation between musicians and choirs, pointing out the need to direct children to listen to meaningful songs that develop They have a flair for music.
The events also included a theatrical performance entitled Friends of the Sun, directed by Areej Hassan. The show talks about the conflict between the energies of good and evil through a dialogue between forest animals in a simple and lovely way, highlighting the importance of the idea of cooperation when we cannot accomplish our work individually.
The director of the work stressed the need to support the school theater to be able to give better.
Students from the Perineum Institute, in addition to Sonia Muhammad, a school theater teacher, and Aya Arsuzi, a music trainer at the school theater, participated in a show of wind instruments “trumpet, clarinet, flute, accordion, drums and piano”, where the trainers Sonia and Aya pointed out the importance and aesthetics of wind instruments that suit the stage and attract the audience.
They also stressed the need to participate in such work and the continuous encouragement of coaches and parents to create a continuous technical situation that will be strengthened in the hearts of students.
The performances also included a folklore dance panel, in which about 20 dancers participated, under the supervision of coach Ghaida Mohamed, head of the school theater department, which won great admiration and interaction from the audience.
Festival coordinator Ghada Darwish stressed the importance of interactive theater and its role in attracting and developing musical talents to appear optimally.
Among the participants in the performances are the twins, Rima Ghanem, participating in the piano accompanying the wind instruments, and Aram Ghanem on the trumpet. In their statement to SANA, they expressed their happiness with this participation, which constituted a great incentive for them to continue to provide the best.
