On the last day of the holiday week and before the holiday and Shabbat, about 110,000 hikers visited the sites, national parks and nature reserves around the country today (Thursday).
The most prominent sites today were the Caesarea National Park, the Yarkon Tel Afek National Park and the Ein Gedi Reserve with about 3,000 hikers in each of them.
The Banias Reserve and the Tel Ashkelon National Park with about 2,000 hikers in each of them.
Also prominent were the Nahal Eyun, Tel Dan, Tzukim and Ein Afek spring reserves and the Masada national parks, Maayan Harod, Gan Hashlosha and Ein Avdat.
In addition, about 5,000 hikers are expected to spend the night, on the eve of the second holiday, in the overnight parking lots paid for by the Nature and Parks Authority around the country, including: Mamshit, Masada, Tel Ashkelon, Yehiam, Besor, Hurshat Tal, Maayan Harod, Khan Beerot and more.
This is in addition to many overnight stays also in the night parking lots in the open areas.

The Nature and Parks Authority is preparing for many hikers who are expected to hike in the nature reserves and national parks tomorrow and Saturday as well.
Among the prominent activities that will take place tomorrow: non-stop knights in the Kochav Hayarden National Park, the Nabataean experience with activities for the whole family and stalls in the Mamshit National Park, a walk in paradise in the Ein Prat Reserve and more.
All this in addition to a wide range of free tours of dozens of nature reserves and national parks, among others by professional guides in collaboration with the Ministry of Tourism.

The Nature and Parks Authority recommends registering to visit the sites in advance through the system for coordinating visits to the Nature and Parks Authority's website in order to ensure entry to the site.
