In the space of a day, the Essonne Departmental Security inherited two new hot files of fights between gangs.
According to our information, a 20-year-old was hit by a car this Wednesday evening in the Bergeries district, in Draveil, in a context of rivalry with the Mazières district.
The victim was transported to a hospital in the Ile-de-France region in serious condition, with a life-threatening condition.
An investigation was opened in flagrante for "attempted homicide", confirms the prosecution of Évry-Courcouronnes.
"It would be reprisals," said a source close to the investigation.
The accident occurred around 8 p.m. on rue du Chemin Vert, behind the Stade des Bergeries.
Clashes would have started earlier in the afternoon, with the repeated passage of young people from Mazières on motocross in the Bergeries, indicates a police source.
Until one of them falls off his motorcycle and is attacked.
A brawl ensues between the young people of the two districts, in conditions that are still unclear.
Hit by a car and thrown several meters
During the clash, a young man from Les Bergeries found himself stuck in an alley.
“A vehicle deliberately drove into the victim and hit him,” said a source close to the investigation.
The shock projected the young man a few meters further.
The car then drove off in a hurry.
The police discovered the victim on the ground when they arrived.
“No arrest has taken place for the time being” specifies the prosecution of Évry-Courcouronnes.
