Al-Hasakah-SANA
1,348 patients benefited from the medical and health services provided by the Syrian Association for Child Cancer Care and Treatment in Al-Hasakah.
The director of the association’s branch, Kenan Bakro, indicated to SANA that medical services are provided to cancer patients through the Pearl Centers in the city of Hasaka and a center in the city of Qamishli. This year, 34 children, including 34 children, were admitted.
He explained that the medical services provided by the centers affiliated with the association include administering doses according to the protocols of the Ministry of Health, in addition to intravenous infusion, laboratory analysis, Echo and CT scans, surgical operations, and the provision of medicines, stressing that the two centers continue to provide treatment and medical services for cancer patients, especially for children.
Bakro pointed out that the most important services provided by the Farah Entertainment Center for Cancer Children of the Society are psychological care for children with cancer through a group of activities facilitators and moral, psychological and educational support events for them to help them resist disease and recover.
