Ankara-Sana
Today, the Turkish Ministry of Defense announced the killing of one of its soldiers in northern Iraq.
And the Anatolia news agency, speaking on behalf of the Turkish regime, quoted the ministry as saying in a statement that the dead man had the rank of first sergeant, adding that he was killed “from wounds sustained during clashes” in northern Iraq.
The Iraqi Foreign Ministry confirmed yesterday that the Turkish regime's military operations in Iraq are hostile and provocative, and constitute a blatant violation of Iraq's sovereignty and a threat to its territorial integrity, denying the existence of any coordination with it in this field.
