He pointed out that the government announcement had been issued for 10 days at the time of the incident, and the time of issuance should not be used as an excuse for the defendant to not comply with the regulations. The defendant, Victory Map Limited, was accused of failing to comply with the Prevention and Control of Disease (Requirements and Directions) (Business and Premises) Regulation (Cap. 599F) Ordinance on 3 January 2022, referring to the person in charge of the catering premises , did not post the correct floor plan showing the "Specified Area D" and the appropriate notices regarding the air change per hour.
The FEHD therefore issued a summons to the catering premises.
The defendant company, a representative of Shengtu Co., Ltd., pleaded guilty in the Eastern District Court today and was fined 6,000 yuan.

The case stated that the restaurant involved held a dinner party on January 3, 2022, which violated epidemic prevention regulations.
