Killed by tree: 76-year-old dies in the forest

When the rescue workers arrived, the 76-year-old had already died from his injuries.
The police are now investigating how the accident happened.
Celle – Already on Wednesday, April 20, 2022, a fatal accident occurred during felling work in a forest between Bergen and Belsen in Lower Saxony.
As the Celle Police Inspectorate wrote in a press release, the fatal incident occurred during private tree felling work on Landstraße 298.

The 76-year-old man was hit by a falling tree while felling and was seriously injured.
When the first rescue workers arrived on the country road, the 76-year-old, who comes from Bergen, had already died.
Rescue workers, including an ambulance, could do nothing for the man.
The police are now investigating how this tragic incident could have happened.
