A lamb went to charity on Easter Monday and was very lucky again: Two police officers saw the animal on the street and were able to brake just in time.
Gaißach -
"We can also do with white sheep," the police commented wittily on an episode that took place on Easter Monday at Taxern (municipality of Gaißach).
As the Presidium Oberbayern Süd reports on its Facebook page, two officers from the Tölz inspection were just on a patrol when a lamb ran right in front of their car.
"The driver was able to bring the patrol car to a stop just in time in front of the animal," police said.
Lamm smuggled his way through a hole in the fence
The lamb had previously smuggled its way from the pasture through a hole in the fence "and obviously went for an Easter walk".
The police officers Ramona and Anna had joined forces to catch the runaway and brought it back to the herd, where "the joy was audibly great".
"And the owner of the flock of sheep was overjoyed that the lamb was returned unharmed."
