In a video that has gone viral, little boys have fun setting fire to public equipment in a working-class neighborhood. Mayor Louis Aliot promises to make the families of the children concerned pay.

Consternation in Perpignan.

Since Wednesday April 20, a short one-minute film shot by an influencer from the popular district of Saint-Jacques has been causing trouble on social networks.

We see young children and teenagers surrounding the slide with a playground, catching fire.

Wallah what is that?

»

This is the town hall why it wants to do nothing in the neighborhood.

Hey, who did that??

Wallah what is this?

shouts “

NasDas

”, a young resident known for his Snapchat videos at the start, in front of the images of a public toboggan in flames, in the middle of the night.

A little boy of five or six comes forward and proudly points to himself.

Is that you?

And does it make you laugh?

he wonders.

Look at the dogness

[nickname of the district attributed by NasDas, editor’s note]

!

And then you will all complain

” denounces the figure of social networks.

Another child, a little older, then intervenes: "

we're cold

", he claims, to which NasDas retorts that he can return "

to [his] mother

".

It was then that a young woman took her turn to try to justify again, all smiles, the act of vandalism: “

but we are bored at home!

»

The images of the small burnt slide end on a surreal plane: children urinate on pieces of cardboard and wood that are still incandescent.

It's the pinnacle, they're putting out the fire with their pee!

“, hallucinates NasDas.

The town hall will ask the families to pay

The RN mayor of Perpignan Louis Aliot, exasperated, tells

Le Figaro

that the city has filed a complaint and that an investigation is underway.

These children have nothing to do outside at this hour.

And families will be asked to pay for this degradation

”, promises the elected official, who underlines that “

this is not the first time that such incidents, with fires

”, strike the working-class district.

Quotes are in progress, the damage could this time amount to more than 10,000 euros.

As for the precise establishment of responsibilities, Louis Aliot wants to "

remain cautious and wait for the investigation to determine the role of each

".
