The Russian army seized thousands of tons of munitions left by the Ukrainian forces before they withdrew from the Kharkov regions.
The news agency Tass quoted the Russian Defense Ministry as saying in a statement today: "Russian engineering special operation forces took control of the huge stores of Ukrainian forces extended hundreds of hectares and includes thousands of tons of ammunition in Kharkov."
The statement added that "Ukrainian troops left a large arsenal of artillery shells, missiles and weapons of air defense and portable cluster munitions used by the military Ukrainians targeting residential areas, what the lives of civilians at risk constantly," pointing out that "Russian troops found mines and Western-made rockets."
Earlier today, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced the destruction of approximately a battalion of Ukrainian forces, including their personnel, weapons and equipment, in the vicinity of the “Myliotivnoy” railway station, using Kalibr missiles.
