Transport in Ile-de-France: the disruptions of the weekend of April 23 and 24

In addition to the usual maintenance work on the RER and Transilien lines, users must count from Saturday on a


RER C.

New weekend of maintenance work on the different branches of the line.

Saturday and Sunday, traffic will be interrupted between Viroflay-Rive Gauche and Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines.

A transfer to the N line of the Transilien which makes the same route is recommended.

On the southern branch, trains from Etampes and Dourdan in Essonne will be non-stop between Brétigny and Juvisy-sur-Orge throughout the weekend.

Finally, on Sunday evening, the trains between Paris-Austerlitz, Etampes and Dourdan will be replaced by a bus service from 11 p.m.

RER D.

Traffic is interrupted throughout the weekend between Saint-Denis Stade de France and Creil in the Oise.

A replacement bus service is in place.

Line D trains to or from Melun in Seine-et-Marne terminate at Gare de Lyon.

The trains providing the link between Juvisy and Corbeil-Essonnes (via Ris-Orangis) are also canceled on Saturday and Sunday.

RER E.

No train will run between Saint-Lazare and Tournan-en-Brie in Seine-et-Marne this Saturday.

The rail link will be restored on Sunday but only until 10.40pm before a replacement bus service takes over.

On the Saint-Lazare/Chelles-Gournay branch, trains will run normally but the end of service is brought forward to 10:30 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday evening.

Transilien

Line J.

Traffic between Argenteuil in Val-d'Oise and Mantes-la-Jolie (via Conflans-Sainte-Honorine) in Yvelines is suppressed throughout the weekend.

A replacement bus service is in place.

Line K.

Due to works, no train will run between Paris Gare du Nord and Mitry-Claye in Seine-et-Marne.

Take the RER B (exceptionally free of works this weekend) to reach Mitry-Claye.

Beyond this section, traffic will be provided normally on the rest of the line.

Line N.

Saint-Quentin en Yvelines station will not be served by Transiliens N throughout the weekend.

The rest of the line works normally.

Line P.

Serial disturbances on the various branches of line P in Seine-et-Marne.

Traffic will be interrupted on Saturday on the Paris-Est/Coulommiers axis and on Saturday and Sunday on the Paris/Provins axis.

In the evening, throughout the weekend, the rail service to Meaux will be interrupted from 10.50 p.m. and that from Château-Thierry from 11 p.m.

A replacement bus service is set up on Saturday and Sunday to get to Provins.

It will leave from the RER E station in Nogent-Le Perreux.

Metro

Line 4.

As (almost) every Sunday, to allow the progress of automation work, the line will only open to travelers from noon.

The service is normally provided on Saturdays.

Line 6.

Due to modernization works, the “West” terminus of line 6 is transferred in Paris from Charles-de-Gaulle Etoile to Trocadéro throughout the weekend.

Line 12.

Only a few more weeks of patience before the inauguration at the end of May of the extension of line 12 and its two new stations to Aubervilliers in Seine-Saint-Denis.

In the meantime, the final connection works for the new section will require 5 days of partial closure to the north of the line.

The metro will be closed from Jules-Joffrin station (Paris, 18th century) to the current Front Populaire terminus from this Saturday until Wednesday April 27 inclusive.
