Shaare Zedek Hospital, where Litzman underwent surgery, said that the operation was successful and that he was recovering and feeling well.

Earlier this week, it was reported that Litzman fainted shortly after feeling unwell at a Beit Midrash in Jerusalem, was treated on the spot and refused to be taken to a hospital.

MK Yaakov Litzman (Torah Judaism) was brought to a hospital during the holiday and underwent a pacemaker transplant, the Shaare Zedek Medical Center updated tonight (Saturday).

The hospital said that the operation was successful and that Litzman was recovering and feeling well.

The pacemaker transplant was performed by Prof. Michael Glickson, director of the Heart Center Integrated at Shaare Zedek.

Earlier this week, it was reported that Litzman fainted shortly after not feeling well before the holiday prayer at the Beit Midrash in Jerusalem.

He was treated on the spot and refused to be evacuated to the hospital.
