Ukrainian citizens have tried to leave their country since the beginning of the Russian invasion on February 24.

This video tells the stories that are hidden underground, of those who have not been able or have not wanted to leave Ukraine.

How are the bunkers in which they take refuge?

How many people have come to live in them?

How is your day to day?

The images collected show how these people have had to flee their homes, but continue in their country, trying to live as normal a life as possible despite being bombarded daily.

Now, the eastern areas, belonging to the Donbas region, are the hardest hit by the onslaught of Vladimir Putin's army, which this Friday confirmed its intention to conquer this area and unite it with the Crimean peninsula, which was annexed by the force in 2014.

Who usually inhabit this type of underground shelters?

The video that accompanies this news collects testimonies from Ukrainian citizens who narrate how they spend their days in bunkers that are their only shield against bombs.

In addition, these places are not life-saving, but have allowed for a life as normal as possible within a war context with dozens of attacks every week and thousands of civilians killed.

This video also contains recordings of some celebration, almost momentary, compared to the number of hours that Ukrainians spend in these shelters.

However, these areas may not be prepared for long stays and the war is on its way to two months.

The occupants of the bunkers themselves tell what the living conditions are like, as well as the problems they face due to these circumstances, which greatly complicate their day to day life.
