The tourism industry is coming back to life and with it even the less pleasant sights.
Yesterday (Friday) during the evening hours, a mass brawl broke out at the Leonardo Plaza Hotel in Eilat.
Many guests took part in the brawl, and it lasted for long minutes and caused casualties.
During the brawl, pepper spray was sprayed by one of those involved, causing casualties among the guests, even those who were not involved in the incident.
In a conversation with one of the guests, she told "Israel Today": "It was terrible. Givati and Border Police forces arrived and tried to take control of the event, they were with cartridges at the conference. Shame that this is what a vacation in Israel looks like, why should it happen? Our children and we "We didn't sleep all night, it's terribly scary. It lasted so long, it was just a nightmare, the holiday became a nightmare."
The police said: "This is a criminal incident - a mutual attack between hotel guests, during which one of the guests used pepper spray.
Police were called to handle the incident, and collected a complaint from one of those involved.
An investigation has been opened into the circumstances of the incident. "
