Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova confirmed that the United States is currently moving to use weapons of mass destruction in Ukraine after the failure of economic pressure on Russia.
"It is clear that the basic plan of the United States, which was focused on exerting economic pressure on Russia in order to force it to reconsider its legitimate interests in providing security, did not succeed," Zakharova said on her Telegram channel, adding, "The United States is now turning to the use of weapons Mass destruction and this represents the level of transition to games beyond the red line.”
Zakharova explained that if Washington uses weapons of mass destruction in Ukraine, it will not be possible to count the number of victims, pointing out that the Americans and their partners in Europe ignore the fact that Russia has not had chemical weapons for 5 years, and this was verified by the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons.
"The Ukrainians, with the help of experts from NATO, are planning to solve this problem in the US plans, and therefore they intend to plant chemical weapons in the sites of the Russian army in Ukraine in any way," Zakharova said.
The commander of the radiological, chemical and biological defense forces of the Russian army, Igor Kirillov, announced earlier today that the Russian Defense Ministry had information about the United States preparing chemical provocations with the aim of accusing the Russian armed forces of them.
