Thomas Anders is one of the most successful singers in Germany, who has since established himself as a hit star after his time with Modern Talking.

From an early age he dreamed of becoming a musician.

His class teacher at the time didn't think much of this plan - and even mocked the student!

Koblenz – Thomas Anders (59) was able to sell a whopping 125 million records with Modern Talking alone, has now switched to the pop music industry and is also achieving incredible success there.

He pursued the dream of one day being a singer on stage early on.

However, this project was not supported by everyone - his former teacher ridiculed today's superstar because of his career aspirations in front of the whole class.

With "Modern Talking ... just different!" Thomas Anders now has his own podcast, in which the pop star now speaks openly about his youth, among other things: His passion for music was sparked early on, it began at the age of three today 59-year-old with singing.

It goes without saying that even during his school days he made no secret of his desire to become a singer.

As Thomas Anders further revealed in his podcast, at the age of 18 he proudly announced in front of the whole class that he would earn his money with his singing in the future - a dream for which his teacher at the time mocked him badly:

"Keep dreaming," he humiliated Teenagers back then in front of his classmates, who burst out laughing.

Thomas Anders gave his opinion to a former teacher – Schlagerstar drove to school in a luxury car

But it is well known that he who laughs last laughs best: only a short time after graduating from high school, Thomas Anders made his breakthrough – reason enough for the hit star to give his former teacher a proper opinion.

Visiting the school in his brand new car, he confronted the teacher: "I slowed down, slammed on the brake, used my automatic window, looked at it and said, 'Oh, you still work here?

Have a nice day' and floated in my Mercedes-Benz in the direction of the traffic lights."

"I've got my revenge now," the modern-talking musician thought at the time, although he knows that in retrospect his behavior sounds "totally stupid and childish".

Nowadays, the 59-year-old doesn't have to prove anything to anyone anymore, and was recently even allowed to act as a guest judge alongside his buddy Florian Silbereisen (40) on "Deutschland sucht den Superstar".

There are also prominent reinforcements for the upcoming episode – because Sarah Engels (29) is part of the DSDS jury this time!
