A Louisiana girl has died after her grandmother forced her to drink a bottle of whiskey while her mother watched, authorities said Friday.
China Record, 4, was found with a blood alcohol level of 0.68 after officers were dispatched to a home in east Baton Rouge on Thursday morning, according to a spokesperson for the Baton Rouge Police Department in a statement.

The East Baton Rouge Coroner's Office said the cause of death was acute alcohol intoxication.

Both women are being held without bond by the East Baton Rouge Sheriff's Office, according to jail records.
It was not immediately clear if they have attorneys to speak on their behalf.
